Please know clues are not always an exact definition, but they do have a reference or relationship to a specific candy. Trick or Treat Candy Match Rating & Game Play Options
We had a several groups of people play Trick or Treat Candy Match and most found it moderately challenging with less than half finishing our printable Halloween game within 5 minutes. And we were happy to see that only 1 person got them all correct in five minutes, that means that people guessed. Teenagers may not know all of the candy bars, but they should be able to deduct some of these Halloween candy clues. We think that for most groups a 5 minute time limit is best for our Halloween candy match game.

• If you feel your group will solve this in less time, set your timer for 4 minutes.  If you get a lot of complaints when time is up that guests need more time, remember you can always add a minute or two to the game.

• If your friends or family are candy and trivia experts, this printable candy quiz might been seen as easy to moderate and we would recommend you play first to finish with all the correct answers wins.

• Classroom play or using as a school activity. This is a great Halloween themed classroom activity to keep students been for 5 – 10 minutes. Please know that it will be challenging for many students because some of the clues might reference candies they have never heard of or seen. We recommend this game for kids ages twelve and older.

Length of time to play and score Trick or Treat Halloween Candy Match – 10 to 15 minutes.

We love Trick or Treating and Halloween candy and always wanted to create a candy game for our site.

So we researched the Top Selling US Candy Bars and Candy and found this
1. M&M’s
2. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
3. Hershey Bar
4. Snickers
5. Kit Kat
6. Twix
7. Twizzlers
8. Skittles
9. 3 Musketeers
10. Milky Way

And after we found the list above, we found another list with similar candy ranking results but a different order. Since it didn’t matter the ranking, we got started making up clues for each candy bar or confection. Creating trivia clues for M&Ms was easy, but others like Hershey Bar were difficult. All in all, we ended up with trivia clues for 57 different candy bars and sweets and then paired the list down to just 24 for our printable Halloween candy game. We think it provides a good mix candy and takes 5 minutes to play, which is perfect for an office Halloween game, fun classroom activity or a competitive party game between friends and family.

Our Trick or Treat Candy Match game is geared towards for teens and adults, and with our printable games you can print out as many as you need whether 5 or 35 games.

While those under the age of 12 can play this candy trivia game, just know that younger kids may not have heard of all of the candy bars and candy mentioned in the game. Also, they may not fully understand all of the clues. We think children under 12 would be able to match half of the clues but may struggle with the remaining ones. However, since all the answers are given it is possible that they could win our Halloween candy party game and win some extra candy.
