We get a lot of requests at Party Game Ideas and one we received was from a teacher asking if we had a Left Right Story for the holiday season that wasn’t Christmas focused. At the time, we did not and we tried to come up with a unique story about winter.
We put on our thinking caps and wrote down ideas about sledding, ice skating, and a snowstorm, but none of them hit the mark. We wanted a unique and interesting story that kids would enjoy and want to know what happens next.
Then we came up with the idea of three kids searching for a yeti and the adventure that they share. It is a fun, silly adventure that kids and adults can enjoy and laugh at. The story “Yeti on Snowcap Mountain” begins
“Look RIGHT over there, those are yeti tracks! See a LEFT, then RIGHT footprint, and these drag marks RIGHT beside it are caused by the yeti’s fur,” Caleb said.
Haley and Liam agreed he was RIGHT. They were on the trail of a yeti!
Legend had it that a yeti lived high up on Snowcap Mountain during the summer, and came down the mountain during the winter in search of food.
The trio were self-proclaimed yeti hunters on the brink of coming face to face with the beast.
Suddenly they heard a noise in the pine trees up ahead on the LEFT. RIGHT as they looked towards the tree, a branch snapped back and snow slid RIGHT to the ground.
From there the adventure of this Winter Left Right Story continues. During the reading of the story, there are over 70 different left right passes.
