Oh Baby! Guessing who these babies are is a challenging, adorable and fun game.
What you need: Prep time to prepare, baby photos, board, pen and paper
Everyone loves looking at baby pictures, so turn those baby pictures into a game for your first birthday party or baby shower. The concept of this game is pretty simple but it does take some planning.
Baby Photo Guess Game Preparation
a. Two – three weeks before the birthday party or baby shower, ask all the adults that are attending to submit a baby photo or early photo and a current photo of themselves. If parents are attending, it might be easier to ask them to them for photos of their kids since parents often have those photos.
b. Keep a record of who is sending in the baby / adult pictures and place each set in separate envelopes. If getting by email, create a word document and copy the images so you can print them out. We recommend you have 10 sets of photos or more, but if you are just playing for fun, no prizes, 6 photo sets will make the game fun.
c. Once you have all of the baby photos, be sure to take a photo of the sets to make sure you have answer key for the game. Now separate the baby pictures and the adults or older photos. Place the baby photos on posterboard and then place numbers 1, 2, 3 by each photo. Now place the older / adult photos on another piece of posterboard and place letters a, b, c, next the photos.
d. Last create a game sheet for your baby photo guess game. Place the numbers of photos on the sheets and leave a blank space after the numbers where guests can fill in the corresponding letter.
How to Play Baby Photo Guess Game
Place the photo boards up and hand out the game sheets. Explain to the guests that they are to look at the baby photos and match them with the adult pictures.
Give the guests a few minutes to review the photos and write down their answers. Once everyone is done, it is time to reveal the answers and score the sheets (if playing for a prize). The person getting the most baby photo matches correct wins.
This is a fun 1st Birthday party game that really focuses on the baby theme!

Lots of Friends and Family with Kids Baby Photo Game
While friends and family may not have baby photos of themselves, they will have photos of their own kids. So use that to your advantage and change the name of your game to “How They Grow – Baby Photo Guess Game”
Ask friend and family members with kids 4 and older to supply a Baby Photo from when their baby was 1 year or less and then ask then to supply a current photo of thier child. We recommend 4 and older so that there is a change in how they look.
Play this game the same as above with guests trying to determine which baby photo goes with which child. Hopefully you will have 10 or more photo sets to work with that will make it more challenging.
Celebrity Baby Photo Guess
Another options for the Baby Photo Guesing game is to search online for celebrity baby photos, crop, number and place the pics on a document, add the celebrity names to the bottom of the page.
We recommend 12 – 16 celebrity baby photos for this game and by putting together the list yourself you can tailor the stars to your families interest. That way the game will be more fun when you share with guests what baby picture goes with which celebrity.
