40 New Hallmark Channel Christmas Movies for 2022

One of our favorite activities in November and December is watching Hallmark Christmas movies. And the excitement of seeing the new holiday films is part of that joy. What can we say we are suckers for romantic comedies, holiday cliches, and  happy ending. So much so we created a Christmas Movie Bingo game that makes watching them even more entertaining.

We are proud to showcase the newest Hallmark movies, which are featured one the Hallmark Channel and the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel, for 2022’s holiday season, so grab your calendar and start planning your Hallmark Christmas Movie watch parties!

1. Noel Next Door
Noel Next Door Christmas Rom Com Movie 2022 Hallmark

Actress Natalie Hall is a driven hard-working, single mother who gets feedback and learns about a grouchy neighbor (Corey Sevier) )who is consistently squashing Christmas cheer. Once she meets him she realizes she has met him before. They get into a heated discussion with about how his grouchy attitude is ruining Christmas. Can he turn things around, will she warm him up, and will he steal her heart?

First Showing: Friday Oct. 21

Cute, fun and adorable – Plus ice skating, outdoor scenes and classic Hallmark Christmas movie misunderstandings. We found this movie to be enjoyable and will enjoy watching again.


2. We Wish You a Married Christmas

A married couple, actors Marisol Nichols and Kristoffer Polaha, just aren’t connecting anymore and their marriage coach suggests a getaway to a charming Vermont inn. Things don’t go as planned and then things get worse when they have car problems. Can they find love again or is all lost?

First Showing: Saturday Oct. 22

Not my favorite premise, as I have seen married friends drift apart, but we are wiling to give it a watch.


3. A Kismet Christmas
A Kismet Christmas Hallmark Movie
A children’s book author, played by Sarah Ramos, returns to her hometown to reconnect with her family (Marilu Henner). While there she runs into Travis, played by Carlo Marks, her teenage crush and the old sparks start to fire up again. An old family legend, that she had dismissed may be true and her key to a perfect ending.

First Showing: Sunday October 23

The return home stories are often so enchanting for us, as I too relish returning home for the holidays. Add a family legend and I am watching.


4. A Cozy Christmas Inn
A Cozy Christmas Inn Holiday Movie
A real estate executive Erika (Jodie Sweetin) is sent on a trip to Alaska just before Christmas to purchase a Bed N Breakfast run by her ex. She arrives at Garland, a quirky Alaska town with a bit of mystery and surprises her ex, Andy (played by David O’Donnell) at the inn. Erika must weigh her feelings for her ex, growing love of the small town and a possible promotion at work before making her next move.

First Showing: Friday Oct. 28,

This is a charming story with a cute underlying mystery and lots of quirky characters. While we did enjoy this Hallmark Christmas movie, we found it lacked some of the Hallmark holiday movie cliches we’ve come to love.


5. Jolly Good Christmas

David, played by Will Kemp, is an American architect who just moved to London for an opportunity in a highly respected firm. With just days before Christmas, he crosses paths with Anji (Reshma Shetty), a professional shopper, who is less than impressed that he chose a gift card for his girlfriend’s present. Reflecting on her bewilderment of his gift, David hires Anji to assist him. While on a quest for the right Christmas gift, a series of unexpected events finds him and Anji on a wild adventure across jolly old London.

First Showing: Saturday Oct. 29

Intriguing premise, looking forward to the London scenes, British accents and discovering how it turns out.


6. Ghosts of Christmas Always

In a classic “A Christmas Carol” ghost style story, the ghost of Christmas present, Kim Matula, must help one soul rediscover their Christmas spirit. But Peter (Ian Harding), the selected soul, start to fall for the ghost and this leads to hijinks and unusual situations.

First Showing: Sunday Oct. 30

I have always enjoyed Dickens themed / inspired holiday stories; as you get to see how all the little things in life impact others. And when it is in a romantic comedy, I am all in.


7. A Magical Christmas Village
A Magical Christmas Village Hallmark 2022
When Summer’s (Alison Sweeney) mother Vivian (Marlo Thomas) moves in with her and her young daughter Chloe, her orderly life is upended. One of Vivian’s first tasks at her daughter’s home is to set up a miniature Christmas village that resembles their town. Vivian tells Chloe, Summer’s daughter, it grants Christmas wishes. As Chloe begins setting up the figurines, real-life events seem to mimic the scenes she creates. With a little help from the magic of the Christmas village, the family will be brought closer together and just maybe, Summer will learn to open her heart to love again.

First Showing: Friday Nov. 4

Alison Sweeney is one of our favorites, and we really looking forward to this Hallmark movie.


8. Lights, Camera, Christmas!

When a Christmas romantic comedy movie shoot films in her small town and suddenly needs a costume designer, Kerry (Kimberley Sustad), a local shop owner, comes to the rescue. While working on the holiday rom-com movie, she rediscovers her passion for costume design and finds herself falling for Brad (John Brotherton), the film’s leading man.

9. All Saints Christmas

Lisette a popular R&B singer is getting ready to travel home to New Orleans for Christmas holiday. While prepping for the trip the media mistakes a photo of her with her music producer ex (Roger Cross) as an engagement announcement. Her family quickly insists that he join her in New Orleans for the Christmas.

First Showing: Sunday Nov. 6

What I love about this premise is that we don’t know if they will fake the relationship, come clean, or begrudgingly be nice while they seethe.


10. In Merry Measure

When pop star Darcy (Patti Murin) returns home to spend Christmas with her sister (Jennifer Robertson) and niece, she unexpectedly finds herself coaching the high school choir with her onetime rival, Adam (Brendan Penny).

First Showing: Friday Nov. 11

This seems like the perfect rival / contest type Hallmark, but will it be one where Darcy and Adam go out of their way to one up each other while coaching the choir? Join us and tune in to find out. 🙂

An original Hallmark Channel Christmas movie where Claire (Rachel Skarsten) is a British MI5 agent who goes undercover as the royal nanny. She must overcome the challenges of her assignment to keep the royal family safe at Christmas, while resisting the charms of the handsome Prince Colin (Dan Jeannotte).

12. Christmas at the Golden Dragon

When Romy (Kara Wang) and Rick’s (Osric Chau) parents surprise them with the news that they will be closing their beloved neighborhood Chinese restaurant, the siblings each find themselves reevaluating their futures. The news about the landmark restaurant’s closing is taken hard by loyal patrons and staff, who have all come to depend on the restaurant over the holidays. Will there be a change of heart? Will a new generation or a faithful patron come to the rescue? Find out by tuning into Christmas at the Golden Dragon.

This may be one of the most anticipated Hallmark Channel movies this year as it plays off of the 1980s hit movie “Three Men and a Baby,” and includes holiday movie favorites Paul Campbell, Tyler Hynes and Andrew Walker. The premise is that three brothers get the surprise of their lives when they are forced to work together to care for a baby during the holiday season. Little by little they slowly get the hang of things and find themselves on unexpected journeys of self-discovery and begin to rebuild their family, romantic and professional relationships in their respective lives… all while rediscovering their love of Christmas.

15. When I Think of Christmas

Returning to her hometown to help her mother move, Sara Thompson (Shenae Grimes-Beech) is surprised to find her ex-boyfriend Josh Hartman (Niall Matter) is home as well. They once planned a life together in music together but Sara left to study law. The former sweethearts slowly reconnect and try to heal old and new wounds. Then when Sara makes a surprising discovery, she and Josh team up to forge a bold plan for the upcoming Christmas concert that leads them all back to their musical roots, make holiday memories, and maybe ignite old flames.

16. My Southern Family Christmas

Campbell (Jaicy Elliot) has always wanted to know her biological father, and comes up with the idea of pretending to be a journalist so she can without him ever knowing who she really is. As she spends time with him and his family, as well as with the town’s record keeper, she realizes that families are messy, wonderful things. In the end, Campbell must make the hard decision of whether to keep her identity a secret or reveal the truth to her father – a decision that will change their family Christmas forever. When Jen (Clare Bowen) and interior designer gets the chance to enter a brand’s design contest, she poses a family influencer, enlisting the help of her best friend, Max (Brant Daugherty), and her baby nephew. When her video is selected as a finalist in the holiday contest, Jen struggles to continue on with her perfect “family” or reveal the truth.

Um, they had me as Brant Daugherty. He is so hot, I might have to turn the ac on just to watch this movie!

18. A Royal Corgi Christmas

Reluctant Crown Prince Edmond (Hunter King) returns home just before Christmas in anticipation of being named successor to the throne. Prince Edmond hopes to win his mother’s love back by gifting her “Mistletoe,” a rambunctious Corgi in need of some serious training. After several doggy disasters, Edmond turns to Cecily (Jordan Renzo), a canine behavior expert and trainer from America for help – but to his great surprise, Cecily demands that he be an active participant in the dog training sessions. Sparks fly between them as the pair work together to get Mistletoe ready to present at the annual Christmas Ball. Just as the precious pup captures their hearts, they discover that love can grow in the most unexpected places, leading them to question what they really want.

Emily (Lacey Chabert) arrives home, hoping to visit her parents, only to discover that they are leaving on a trip of their own. 21. A Christmas Cookie Catastrophe

Annie Cooper (Rachel Boston) has big shoes to fill when she takes over as CEO of her late grandmother’s small-town cookie company and is doing her best to help their struggling business get back on track. Things get even more daunting when her grandmother’s secret cookie recipe goes missing during the Christmas party. As Annie tries to crack the case and uncover the culprit, she works with Sam (Victor Webster), the owner of a local bakery, to recreate the recipe in the hope of saving the company and her job. As Annie and Sam bake batch after batch in pursuit of the perfect one, they begin to learn that their lives go together like milk and cookies.

This sounds like fun and the perfect Christmas movie to watch while decorating cookies.

In 1958, Maggie (Ginna Claire Mason) is an heiress from Philadelphia who puts her high-society wedding plans on hold in order to sneak up to New York City and make her secret dream come true: dancing live on stage in the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall.

A fun period piece that includes the iconic Radio City Rockettes and Derek Klena, Eve Plumb, Ann-Margret.
