St. Patrick's Day Treasure Hunt
St. Patrick's Day Treasure Hunt
Your St. Patrick’s Day treasure hunt can be easy or complex, but at the end you will find a Pot of Gold!
First create your story a Leprechaun has lost or hidden his Pot of Gold and has “ask for your help” or “has challenged you to find it” the story you create will help you create clues.
Younger kids enjoy the “Asking for Help” scenario
Older kids will enjoy being “challenged to find it” scenario.
Now create a series of clues.
For Younger kids you can say Go here to get the next clue or use simple riddles.
For Older kids be more creative and include more riddles – challenge them.
Each clue you set up will lead those searching for the Pot of Gold –closer to the Treasure.
If you want include prizes or even object clues at different points along the way. You can through in a challenge or two along the way (like a ring toss or trivia questions) this will keep things interesting and they will need to work to get the clue.
Now take your 8 – 15 clues and do a trial run. Do all they clues make sense? If yes you are ready.
Set up the clues and hid your Pot of Gold before the party and get ready for fun.
Thanks – April
