Pumpkin Brains Search
Pumpkin Brains Search is a unique, gross and fun activity for kid’s Pumpkin carving parties.
While the kids are cleaning out the pumpkins so that they can carve them, collect all your seeds and pulp (pumpkin brains) from inside fresh pumpkins and place in large tub, small baby pool, or large container.
Note: Do not put the container in sunlight. You want the seeds and pulp to be gooey and sticky for this game.
For number of children playing, hide same number of themed trinkets in and under seeds/pulp.
Then either take a break during the pumpkin carving or after you have completed the pumpkin carving and let the kids know that you are going to play a game. Call the kids over to the Pumpkin Brain Trough. (Tub with seeds and pulps in.)
Let the kids know that they must roll up their sleeves, gather around the tub/pool and then search through the Pumpkin Brains for hidden Halloween trinkets.
When the Party Host says go the kids are told to Search the Pumpkin Brains.
Kids then search through the Pumpkin Brains until they find a Halloween trinket, grab the trinket and then stand back and watch they others until everyone has found 1 Halloween trinket.
Then clean up the kids and the trinkets. Each kid will keep the trinket they found, but after the game the host announces that some trinkets come with prizes.
Note: Before the game assign bonus prizes for each or select Halloween trinkets.
Some can be a candy bar, novelty Halloween prizes or a gift card.
Now once the kids are cleaned up announce the special trinkets and give the child with that trinket the corresponding prize.
