Baby Shower Favors

Whether you make you own baby shower favors or purchase something just for the event you want something special. While I have often been asked if I have any ideas for shower favors I never created an online list. So I have reviewed some of the emails that I have answered in the past and looked into some online sites that can assist in helping you get ideas for baby shower favors.

What I found is that while there are some great craft ideas out there, even the simple ones could take time to put together and could involve trips to several stores. So I listed a few classic ideas and what you need to make them and then I add items I saw online follwed by a few stores that look like they do nice job with baby shower favors.

Baby Bottle with Candies Supplies: Baby bottles, candies, ribbon, paint & brushes Take baby bottles, fill with candies (your choice), paint event info on the outside of bottle (or print stickers), tie ribbon around top of bottle.
Personalized Baby Shower Candles Supplies: Scented candle tins, ribbon, personalized stickers Purchase scented candle tins, then purchase printable round stickers where you can personalize the event and print on computer, tie with ribbon. Recipe Favor Gift Supplies: Create a soup, cupcake, brownies, cookie recipe (dry ingredients only), jar or box, ribbon, directions Mix up a large batch of ingredients for your recipe (make sure you know how many you need to divide by), then divide and place into jar or box something air tight if possible, create a event tag and on the back have directions for making the recipe, add ribbon.

They are so cute that I don't know if I would eat them however I know that they would not last for more than a day in my house!
	Towel Cakes Each shower favor looks like a dessert cake until you go to take a bite and see it is really a towel cake. And they come in a variety of styles and colors. I had never seen anything like it and you can mix and match your cakes.
	Plantable Seeds Baby Shower Favor The perfect eco-friendly baby shower favor and so cute. The favor contains paper embedded with seeds that can be planted to grow wildflowers. I love it and very original we saw this on several sites.
	Pretty Baby Gifts Pretty Baby Gifts is a site that includes a variety of baby gifts and offers over 70 baby shower favors. While some I have seen on other sites I did notice they had bottle stoppers, pens, baby bottle candle favors, and bun in the oven candles. (Very Cute) This site also carries a variety of baby gifts including bedding, clothes, diaper bags, gift baskets and more.
